16 Days of Activism: Global Consultation on Transformative Masculinity

Gender-based violence (GBV) is a global public health issue rooted in societal gender inequalities. It is exacerbated by factors such as armed conflict, natural disasters, and disease outbreaks.

The 16 Days of Activism is an annual international campaign that aims to raise awareness and mobilise action to end all forms of gender violence.

Rounding up the campaign is a two-day conference in South Africa – “Global Consultation on Transformative Masculinity: Positive Masculinity Eradicating Gender-Based Violence”.

The consultation will run from 8 to 10 December 2025.
