Face to Face Netherlands 2016

The Face to Face: Mission in the Context of Empire through the Lens of Migration and Human Trafficking (Face to Face Netherlands) is now accepting applications for 2016 intake. The Programme will be held on 2 April to 14 May 2016 in the Netherlands. The deadline of submission of applications is on 15 November 2015.

Face to Face is a seven-week Programme that aims to invite the students preparing for ministry in cultural, social, theological and contextual realities to understand, to motivate and to engage with the realities on how the fullness of life is being denied to the large majority of the world’s population.

Specifically, the Face to Face in the Netherlands will provide the participants with opportunities to engage in theological reflection and guided study in a supportive atmosphere; to explore and learn about Dutch culture; to experience work-placements in migrant communities and alongside trafficked and undocumented people; to develop worship and study resources as well as different workshops for interview techniques and creative writing.

The CWM member-church may nominate maximum of two (2) participants, one male and one female, to the Programme.

Please note that CWM will not cover the cost of the passport nor process the participant’s visa requirements.
