Young adults from United Church in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands (UCJCI) respond to call to ministry

Young adults from United Church in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands (UCJCI) attended the United Church Young Adults Action Movement’s conference last year for a time of bonding, equipping and refreshing. Held at Madge Saunders Conference Centre, St Mary, there were discussions on building healthy marital and pre-marital relationships, and a career building session. 30 people responded to the Call to Ministry as Lay Leaders, indicating their interest in being trained in their local congregations. In keeping with UCJCI’s objective to improve stewardship of the environment, seven fruit trees were planted by Moderator Rt Rev Dr Gordan Cowans.
