Uniting Presbyterian Church in Southern Africa (UPCSA) wins award for good governance

Last November, the Uniting Presbyterian Church in Southern Africa (UPCSA) received an accolade from the Institute of Risk Management South Africa (IRMSA) for their efforts in good governance and ethics. UPCSA was entered for the award in the NPO category and submitted papers showing their governance structure, risk matrix, finance and management protocols and strategic plan as part of their application. Out of 18 organisations, they were one of the five organisations which received the award, and was recognised for “outstanding contribution towards risk management”.
