This militarization consultation intends to gather activists and public intellectuals who are political analysts and scholars of religions engaged in resisting the empire and militarization in different ways during October 20-22, South Korea. One of the conference’s objectives is for these theologians to strengthen each other’s work by harnessing their expertise in taking a public stand against militarization and to energize the society with a new vision of humanity. They also aim to come up with a few publications that encourage, enhance and stimulate critical thinking and action in resisting militarization in a creative and imaginative way on the basis of a liberating vision of life, land and seas.
