INSiGHT May is here!

by CWM Communications Team

The May issue of INSiGHT arrives on the back of Easter, and as we head towards Pentecost, in a time of rising casualties from the conflict in Ukraine. CWM and member churches have responded with prayer services and released statements in solidarity, and organised emergency aid responses.

In this issue, Rev. Dr Karen Georgia Thompson, Associate General Minister for Wider Church Ministries and Operations in the United Church of Christ (UCC) amplifies the voice of women of colour living at the margins at the intersection of race and gender, and Yonsei University Korea lecturer Sigamoney Shakespeare calls the Church to begin the prophetic work of proclaiming the good news, in solidarity with weak and oppressed communities.

In it you’ll also find an Africo-missio-ecological reflection by Rev. Samuel Nkrumah-Pobi, an ecumenical preacher and PhD candidate, and Fiona Gannon from Union of Welsh Independents (UWI) writes about the humble, prayerful attitude necessary for caring for our environment.

Be encouraged. Be inspired. Be informed. Welcome to INSiGHT.
