CWM Partner-in-Mission (PIM) opportunities at the International University of the Caribbean (IUC)

The United Church in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands (UCJCI) is seeking mission partners to serve in four positions in the International University of the Caribbean (IUC), an innovative private university specialising in the humanities. Its emphasis is on collaborative, interdisciplinary learning, informed by peace building and community engagement.

IUC is seeking four partners to serve as Head of Graduate Studies & Research; Director of Information Technology and Technical Services; Head of Library Services; and Head of Department: Psychology and Counselling.

The Head of Graduate Studies & Research works with the University’s Vice-Presidents and Deans to develop guidance manuals for the University’s strategic graduate programmes, and is responsible for integrating academic planning across the colleges and fostering cross-college interdisciplinary initiatives.

The Director of Information Technology and Technical Services oversees the provision of IT, Technical Services and Information Systems based solutions to support the University’s business processes.

The Head of Library Services focuses on creating a vision for the University Library across campuses, providing services in the areas of management of electronic and print collections, and more.

The Head of Department: Psychology and Counselling overseas the Psychology Department’s portfolio of academic programmes and activities in the operation and strategic development of the University.
