Church of North India (CNI) Moderator The Most Revd. Dr. P.C. Singh, in his New Year Message, has declared that the theme chosen for this year is based on John 10:10 – Abundant Life, or Life in all its fullness.
He believed that “the time has come for them (us) to have a closer look at the value and purpose of life” in a culture of materialism and hedonism. The greed, competitiveness, aggression and selfishness are fruitless, and an abundant life is possible when they share their lives with others and give it away like Jesus did, he said.
He also announced that CNI had launched its year-long Golden Jubilee celebrations last November, in All Saints Cathedral Nagpur, where the church was born in 1970.
