Thursday, 11 June 2009 17:00
The Council for World Mission Trustee Body is meeting from 16 to 19 June in Mamallapuram, south India, to guide and direct the work of CWM.
The Trustee Body – made up of 31 trustees drawn from each of CWM's member churches – is elected by CWM's Assembly to serve for three years. This is the last time Trustees will meet before new trustees for 2009–2012 are elected at Assembly in south India the following week.
Among the issues that will be addressed at the Trustee Body meeting will be committing to a framework for CWM's strategy for the next 10 years.
